Sustainability at Magnum Industries starts with better engineering.
By designing longer-lasting security products, reducing waste throughout manufacturing, and investing in responsible materials and energy solutions, we work continuously to minimise environmental impact while delivering products built to perform for years.

Magnum Industries has achieved an EcoVadis Silver Rating, placing us within the top 15% of companies assessed globally for sustainability performance.
This independent recognition reflects our commitment to responsible manufacturing, ethical operations and continuous improvement.
Our facility & renewable energy
We operate our own integrated manufacturing facility, giving us direct control over environmental performance, energy efficiency, quality standards and continuous sustainability improvements.
During 2025/26 we began installation of a solar power system across the factory. When fully operational, solar energy will provide up to 60 percent of our total electricity consumption, significantly reducing our carbon footprint and improving long-term energy efficiency. This initiative forms a key pillar of our sustainability roadmap.
Product Longevity
The most sustainable security product is one that does not need replacing. Magnum products are engineered for durability and long service life, helping reduce waste and resource consumption over time.

Environment & climate action
We work continuously to reduce environmental impact across all manufacturing and product lifecycle stages.
Our energy measures include solar integration, high-efficiency machinery, and low-energy lighting systems. We reduce waste through recyclable metal components, reduced plastic usage, and lean production processes that minimise scrap. Packaging is a key focus area. We use FSC-certified paper and board for cartons and printed materials. Where plastic components are required, we prioritise recyclable PET materials and continue reducing mixed-material packaging formats to improve recyclability. QR-code digital manuals reduce paper consumption. All materials are compliant with REACH and RoHS regulations.
Responsible operations
Magnum Industries maintains safe, ethical and legally compliant working conditions across all operations. We prohibit forced labour, child labour and discrimination while supporting employee wellbeing, training, workplace safety and professional development.

Supply chain and procurement
All suppliers must comply with our environmental, ethical, and quality standards. We conduct annual audits covering safety, labour, ethics, and environmental compliance. Materials must meet traceability and documentation requirements. Our procurement approach prioritises recycled and recyclable materials, FSC-certified sources, recyclable PET where required, and the elimination of non-compliant substances.

Product responsibility
Magnum Industries products are engineered for durability and long service life, reducing environmental impact associated with short replacement cycles. We use durable, recyclable materials and minimise plastic wherever possible. Where electronics are incorporated, products comply with EU and UK battery regulations, WEEE requirements, and responsible disposal standards.

Digital responsibility and cybersecurity
Connected security platforms within the Magnum group are developed using secure-by-design principles. Encryption, secure authentication, penetration testing and global privacy compliance help protect customer data and maintain long-term digital security.

Governance, ethics, and transparency
Strong governance supports every aspect of our sustainability programme. Our Code of Conduct covers anti-corruption, legal compliance, data protection, ethical business practices and responsible supplier management. Sustainability performance is reviewed regularly by senior leadership.

Reporting and future roadmap
During 2026–2027 Magnum Industries will continue investing in:
Solar energy generation
Reduced plastic packaging
Increased recycled material content
Lower-impact manufacturing processes
